US Postal Service Announces 2010 Stamps

Mother Teresa and Katharine Hepburn are just two of the icons to grace our country's stamps in 2010!
Singing cowboy Gene Autry, Pulitzer Prize winning cartoonist Bill Mauldin, the Negro baseball leagues, the Hawaiian rainforest and the Sunday funnies are all among the people, places and institutions that will be a part of the commemorative stamps for the upcoming year.
But our favorites are for sure those two lovely ladies above.
Beautiful!

Slow day huh Perez.
OK I can understand Mother Teresa but Katherine Hepburn….?
REALLY….. That's the kind of people that they think is important enough to put they're face on a stamp?
That must have been done in California…..
People they're really think Celebrity's are like GOD….
That's why it's the most BROKE ASS state in the country…
They even have Arnold as they're governor… NEED I SAY MORE?
What's next. David Beckham as State Attorney ?
And they wonder why it's a fucking mess over they're…
People on the EAST side call CALI the Circus State with nothing but a bunch of clowns…
I mean come on instead of getting your tax return you guys get an I.O.U from your own state…
So fucking funny..
Old.
Katharine Hepburn was a phenomenal actress and an endless, classic beauty. I love that they commemorated her this way.
How Ironic! two master manipulators….
Nice
Perez Hilton deserves a queer stamp of his own after all he is "The Queen of all Media!" and no he did not steal that from Howard Stern!
Re: Julie Newmar – Nah, hes probably copying and pasting the good news for later….
Katherine Hepburn was not a great actress. I can not stand listening to that whiney voice . . . Plus, no one seems to remember the book she wanted published after her death, in which the old bitty dissed the actresses of today. Witch didn't have the "balls" to let it come out before her death because she wanted to avoid controversy. What about the affair she carried on with Spencer Tracy? America and its heroes . . .
Re: mathisol – haha calm down. You dont even know if the stamp was made in california and there you are going off. Take the stick out of your ass because no one cares what you think about california.
I get the Katharine Hepburn stamp because she was one of the greatest actresses of all time but why Mother Teresa? She was nothing but a publicity seeking wench who would try to convert non Christians Indians behind their backs. She forced dying Indians to suffer by withholding pain medication so they could suffer for Jesus.
for sure. these are two beautiful and gracious women Glad to see Mother Teresa, she sure deserves it!
Re: Candy Barr – Katherine Hepburn was a great actress. that is the reason she is on a stamp, not for any other reason. If you don't think that Katherine was a great actress I would love to know who you think is so great. Paris Hilton maybe.
they should have done a MJ Stamp. When you peel it off the sheet of paper it makes the sound of a zipper being pulled down
Re: Candy Barr –
the mentality of people who post on this site just amazes me. I think you are all idiot 12 year olds, and totally without class.
that mother teresa stamp is a low down dirty shame…they have her looking like a wrinkled bag of bones! she NEVER looked that bad….
Two great women for very different reasons. Kate (one of only a few 4 time acting Oscar Winners) looks great in her photo.
PEREZ, I TRUELY WISH WITH ALL MY HEAT YOU RECEIVE THIS HONOR IN 2020.
Re: bongo – That's so NOT funny the man has already passed let him rest….If he did or didn't do it's in God's hands now!!!!We are no one to judge….
omg perez
separated at birth!
Re: ap076 – I loved/love Kate and her acting legacy but one night she must have been having an off night in the theatre because dorothy Parker reviewed her performance by saying "she ran the gamut of emotions form A to B".

Also I am and was earlier aware that to be placed on a US stamp a person must be dead for 10 years.
yeah mother teresa looked alot better than that, they could've used a better picture…
"Corruption always shows up on thy face" John Milton….
Huh. Interesting. Mother Theresa is a Saint, but she was Indian? Why is she on an American stamp? Hepburn is an obvious choice. The Great Kate deserves that and more.
Re: PhillipP – LMFAO, the Blessed Mother Theresa did A LOT for the poor, what are YOU doing for them???? jerk
Re: PhillipP – PS: it's SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CLASSY to speak ill of the dead…!!!
Some of you people are such ignorant morons. Mother Teresa was born in the Ottoman Empire (Present Day Macedonia, near Greece)… She dedicated her entire life to helping the poor and homeless and received the Nobel Peace Price. She has also been made a Saint. She was one of the few "good-hearted" people in the world and you americans should consider yourself lucky or blessed to add her to your stamps. Or would you prefer the same old "Bald Eagle"? So what is she wasn't BORN in the states? When are you going to get over this "geographical" mentality? The Earth belongs to all humans. Countries and superpowers and empires come and go, but the people remain.
It's fitting that the postal service picked a woman who believed suffering brings us closer to God.
Oh, look, another crushed package just arrived… PRAISE JESUS!
I love these stamps!
