Artie Lange Hospitalized!
Longtime sidekick to Howard Stern, comedian Artie Lange has been hospitalized!
Lange's publicist has released a brief statement confirming that the known addict is currently in a New Jersey hospital, saying:
"We can confirm that Artie is in the hospital. Artie has chosen to keep all information on this matter between him and his doctor. There will be no further comment."
Lange's substance abuse troubles have been well-known for a number of years, most recently losing his license for 7 months after pleading guilty to driving under the influence of the sleeping pill Restoril back in October.
Artie is scheduled to be back on the air on Monday, but so far, there has been no word on his return.

Lots of drug addicts die; just look at Michael Jackson & the outpouring of love for that alleged child molesting, drug addict. I love Artie Lange, he is hilarious, extremely talented & has a kind heart. Everybody has their demons. Howard's show is a million times funnier with Artie, it's quite noticable when he's out. I hope he is able to get clean and stay that way. I love u Artie, get better!
@goapebilly the man is an addict. He went through something no one should ever go through with the accident that paralyzed and eventually killed his father. Did he go down the wrong road when dealing with his demons? Absulutely, and he's now paying for it dearly. Try compassion; kicking someone when they are as down as this man is can't make you feel THAT much better about yourself.
