After Kathy Griffin let the f-word slip on the cable news network's New Year's Eve special with Anderson Cooper, CNN has issued an apology for Griffin's potty mouth.
The network's "apology" stated that it "regrets that profanity was used during our New Year's Eve coverage".
Not much of an apology!
In case you missed it, Kathy was poking fun at the pronunciation of Balloon Boy Falcon Heene's name, calling him "Fucking Heene" live on-air!

CNN knew from last year that was one of her goals so, if they really didn't want it to happen, they shouldn't have had her back again this year. They did have her back, so it obviously isn't any big deal.

No apology necessary CNN. You are a cable network and it was after 10pm. I would call Kathy's use of the word intentional rather than a slip, in fact.
Also before all the "parents" come out of the woodwork whining about how their children were/could have been permanently damaged by hearing the word, how about you try and do a couple of things first.
Research who/what your children are going to watch before they do, don't use you TV as a babysitter to make up for your poor parenting skills, and take a minute to set the parental locks to shows that you would not care to see your children watch.
All this takes a little time and really you children are worth it.
