Khloe Is Homeless, Sorta

Back in November, we told you how newlyweds Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom had purchased a $4 million home in Tarzana, California.
The home is over 8,000 square feet and features 7 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms.
The one thing it doesn't have is Khloe's name on the legal house documents.
Turns out that according to the couple's prenup, the home is under Lamar's name alone. Khloe had to agree that the house is Lamar's "sole and separate property."
Guess Khloe's OK with Lamar keeping the house, cause if she ever goes after him in a divorce case we're sure she'll walk away with plenty.

This so such normal practice for house buying…..doesn't mean that Khloe and Lamar arent' legit or that he didn't want the home under her name. He prob got the loan so it's recorded as "sole and separate prop".

I think it's not a bad idea. She is not responsible for anything pertaining to the place, such as mortgage payments, insurance, upkeep, etc. Sounds like a sweet deal to me!
What a misleading title. And WHO CARES about this story anyway? Apparently it was okay with Khloe if she signed the prenup, so what's the big deal and where's the story? Lame.

Exactly right. Most states have laws that require both names to be on the deed, while the mortgage only has to be in one name. I moved into my house after it had already been purchased by my husband. When we refinanced the mortgage, we had to put my name on the deed, but I'm still not on the mortgage.
If they are happy with the agreement that is all that matters. It's not hurting us any. She has enough of her own money to survive if it doesn't work out. But I hope it does. They are cute together.
