Casey Johnson's Diabetes May Have Contributed To Death

Although the cause of death is not official, diabetes may have contributed to the passing of Johnson & Johnson heiress Casey Johnson.
"Casey had very severe diabetes and was not taking care of herself properly," claims a source. "With her condition she should have been closely monitoring her health, taking insulin, monitoring blood sugar levels, and she wasn't."
Of course, her substance abuse issues did not help the matter.

Give me a break! She was clearly a drug addict and alcoholic. I doubt it had anything to do with diabities. Maybe Tila Tequila gave her a fast acting STD. As you may already know, Tila suffers from skankwhoreitis, she may have passed it on to Casey.

If she was a diabetic I would frankly be surprised if they could not say that having the disease did not in some, way, shape, or form contribute to her death.
IF the source is correct, not taking her insulin has huge metabolic ramifications. The real question is to what degree this may have contributed to her death or even if it was the cause.
That and all the drugs she did. COME ON PEOPLE.

One does not have to die of diabetes. She was lost and no one cared enough to do something about it. She should have been committed to a facility like they did Britney Spears and she would be alive today.
You don't leave a diabetic drug addicted person alone if you love them. Period.

Casey had type 1 diabetes, as do I. If she was drinking or on some kind of drugs it would be hard to detect if her blood sugar was dangerously low or high. This can cause death. If you dont take care of yourself, as it seemed she wasn't, diabetes especially type1 is very very dangerous.

Umm hello?!?! I'm surprised that no one's mentioning the fact that diabetes and intense drug use go hand in hand. Ask any emergency medical staff and they'll agree. I hope this isn't the case with recent deaths and diabetes, but it certainly is a common connection.
All that money. I guess money really doesn't buy happiness. So many young, beautiful, rich, skinny people keep dying. What is the deal? And it seems Brittany Murphy also had diabetes, that is a strange coincidence isn't it?

I have diabetes type 1 2 and 3… I have herpes simplex A B and C… I have syphillis, gonorrhea, hepatitis, liver cirrosis , AIDS, Bird FLU and I am STILL ALIVE BITCHES
very das, my husband has diabetes an i worry every day about him becaues he doesnt take care of himself the way he should. and nothing i say or do helps
Re: skippie dee – skippee, Casey's mother got custody of the child a while back, after finding Casey living in squalor. Diabetes is a horrible disease, and almost impossible to manage if on drugs. My first thought when they reported her death was that she may have gone into a diabetic coma from having an undetected too-low blood sugar. Type I Diabetes is NOTHING to fool around with.
LETS NOT FORGET THE ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES THAT WHORE TOOK…

I hope her daughter is ok, no one has reported on if she was with/around Casey at the time of her passing.

AND if someone is COMMITTED to an institution she is forced to take meds for her diabetes etc and withdraw from her addictions, abstain from alcohol and is under24/7 care.
She would be alive if they would have done that instead of ASKING her to stay in a rehab facility that she walked right out of.

Mario, look at the very first piece you did on her last night. I'm a diabetic and the first thing I notice were the tips of her fingers. Those were diabetic fingers.
I don't take anything for it. But, her fingers look like she stuck thing often with the lancets we use. It very well could be diabetic related if she did not eat right or her sugar went to low. But, it does not always means drugs. Just sayin..

I know she is a Johnson and Johnson heir. But, with her dad owning a major league football team he could have used tough love and put her in a hospital to treat her demons and her diabetics. Drugs and liquor can affect your sugar levels. I'm sure once that report is finished all will be revealed. And strange Brittney Murphy was a diabetic too. Shite!
