Deets On Xtina's New Album
Christina Aguilera's new album, Bionic, will be released in March, but don't expect the same ol' Xtina.
Although she's usually known for her piercing high notes, she showing off her softer side on an album that "is about the future." The hawt momma credits her son Max for "motivating me to want to play and have fun."
The new singing style is due to exploring new parts of herself - and not in a slutty way!
"Maybe I've been afraid to do in the past, to allow myself to go to a place of 'less singing,'" said Christina. "I'm more vulnerable and more strong at the same time."
Her first single, Glam, has been described as "a poppy, hip-hop inflected throwback to Madonna's Vogue." Not to mention Lullaby, a collaboration with Sia.
Tricky Stewart called the album "one of her best bodies of work."
"I know that there's a lot of other cool features, like I know that she has Santigold and Flo Rida on there," he continued. "She's mixing it up again. She's singing R&B again, she's doing pop. She's doing it all, but she's found a way to make it all meet in the middle because she's so many different things."
And she got the chance to write with M.I.A., Ladytron, Dr. Luke, Bravery frontman Sam Endicott, Switch and Goldfrapp.
Can't wait! Hope it lives up to the hype!

I REALLY liked her new songs on the greatest hits cd. I wasn't a Christina fan for a long time, but I really like the new direction she is taking. She seems like someone who pushes herself to get better and learn more, which is always entertaining.

I'm a huge Lady Gaga fan and think she is unique in her own way but hmmm..no, it's unfair to say Christina is copying her. Long before Gaga was on the airwaves Christina discussed how she was interested in electronic/house music and the possibility of making an album with a futuristic theme. It's actually pretty common right now..a lot of artists seem to be into "futuristic sounds". The album does sound very interesting, a lot of good collaborations. I certainly do hope there is no auto-tuning on this. Her voice and style are too good for that crap.

I am not usually an Xtina fan because I'm not into that type of music. Admittedly the girl can sing… I will check this one out, though, I love Ladytron, Goldfrapp, and MIA, and any of those three would be able to add a little more depth to her music. Hopefully it will be a little more daring than the usual pop/r&b snoozfest.
Yay im so excited she is the best artist ever and she can sing woot. Stripped was the best album shes done so far. Hopefully this will be even better.
