I'm from Denmark as well af Alphabeat is. Their first hit, "Fascination", is awesome. But since that they haven't really been popular in Denmark. Allegedly they are massive in the UK, but I don't know for sure
Despite it's insipid lyrics (or lack of lyrics) I did just watch a live performance from Manchester on Y o u t u b e and they actually performed quite well with surprisingly similar vocal quality to the recorded video.
I personally will stick with my Pet Shop Boys or New Order for the best of the best of this "general" type of music.
That song is awful. I hope music like this doesn't become super catchy… reminds me of the crap we were subjected to during the raver days. Yuck.
