Casey Johnson Was Struggling For Years

So sad.
Casey Johnson's family has been concerned about her mental and physical state for quite some time now making her death not much of a surprise to those who were close to her.
Casey had been dealing with mental problems including being unable to sleep and ordering prescription meds on the Internet to help her sleep.
Oftentimes she would crash in the middle of the day sleeping up to 16 hours after being awake for days partying. Casey also dabbled in cocaine usage.
Casey would also wake up her 3-year-old daughter Ava-Monroe in the middle of the night to play before she was eventually taken away by Casey's mother.
The Johnson family was also very concerned about Casey's questionable relationship with Tila Tequila and their engagement.
Her family also wanted to take her to the best rehab facility in the country, but it seems that Casey didn't want the help despite her family's desperation.
Casey's funeral will be held later this week. Her family released the following statement:
"The Johnson family wishes to thank everyone who has expressed condolences and support during this trying time. Your thoughts and prayers are deeply appreciated."
Our thoughts are with them.

Although the story is sad - I want to know how in the world was someone that was so messed up able to adopt? Don't they do background checks? I thinks it's a sad sad thing that the agency approved her for a child. Funny gay couples have a difficult time adopting - yet a single rich white girl with numerous issues had no problem at all. Messed up world we live in.

Re: courtney-86 – we don't need to see the results. even if it was related to diabetes, you don't just go into diabetic comas. diabetics who are taking care of themselves check their blood sugars regularly, and are able to determine when a problem is arising, and do something about it. casey was a drug addict, and was not living a life conducive to managing her diabetes properly.
I don't understand the "questionable relationship" with Tila Tequila. What does that mean? Okay, TT is a famewhore…just like Casey. TT is a pAArtier..just like Casey. "you don't just go into diabetic comas" Im guessing you have never heard of hypoglycemia unawarness which can even happen to people with good control of thier diabetes. Type 1 is very hard to control. I check my sugars regularly and have good 3 month averages but still can wake up in the middle of the night weak and nausious having to stumble to the kitchen to get something to eat. This is a serious disease. Not to mention that a lot of diabetics do have drug problems and are depressed because of this disease. Hopefully her death will raise awareness about how important it is to take care of yourself as a Type 1 diabetic.
I truly believe she was taken because her life became unbearably painful…just look at her sweet angelic face, and I'm sure her personality matched. The sad thing is that no one was there to intervene….to step in and help her emotionally and spiritually to fill the emptiness in her life. Where were her "so-called" friends like Paris?

Oh, and the Tila tequila involvement was the worst thing that could have happened to here! I'm so appalled at little Tila. >:o She seriously needs to seek therapy herself (she's clearly insane and seems to be drugged out 24/7). Why is she constantly on the little blue bird site posting weird remarks?? Especially so soon following Casey's death? So heartless!!! How could someone be THAT desperate for fame??? It's sickening! Mental issues or not, she most definitely had one thing right: she absolutely hated your guts, Mario.
Regardless of the circumstances surrounding her death, there is someone out there right now mourning a daughter, sister, niece, grandchild, mother. People feel free to write nasty things behind the safety of their computer screen, but this woman was a real person with obvious problems. Hopefully there is someone in her family who will be able to provide her precious daughter with a loving, stable and secure life.

Re: sarahforsale – actually fuckface I'm a registered nurse and I know if you take care of yourself, even if you are a brittle diabetic, you are aware of the signs and symptoms of hypoglycemia and can recognize them in yourself before you just up and go into a fucking coma. this girl obviously didn't take care of herself nor did she live a life where she could properly control her sugars. you even said it yourself, you wake up in the middle of the night feeling nauseous, a symptom of your disease. people who cloud their judgement with substance abuse are unable to do what you do reported doing. i've taken care of numerous people over the years who have brain injuries due to substance abuse with the comorbidity of diabetes. hopefully her death will let diabetics know they esp cannot abuse drugs or alcohol, it is far more dangerous for them!
You can't fault Perez for snarking on someone who later happens to die. What, is Perez supposed to write that everyone in Hollywood/NY is an angel, just in case they drop dead? No one would bother reading such a website.
