Upon hearing that Bad Romance was her fifth consecutive #1 record, GaGa told Billboard that the song originally was "nothing but a dream, a recurring melody, a lyric hidden on a napkin in my tour bus."
And now it's a worldwide sensation!
She told the music mag that the success of The Fame Monster has been "life-changing" and owes it to her fans!
"Now, it's my fifth No. 1 record, and a reminder to fans to always follow their dreams. I would like to thank all my beautiful little monsters and my incredibly supportive team for the most memorable year of my life," GaGa graciously proclaimed.

I said it before and I'll say it again: Gaga is my girl crush, (man I can't get over the dream I had of her). Also, it's funny how all of the people who comment about her in a negative way are coincidentally the ones who can not spell, use correct grammar, or articulate their opinion in a way that will actually get their point across. The biggest "haters" always seem to be the most uneducated but I guess I would be constantly irritated if I were illiterate too. Just my opinion. I love Lady GaGa! I remember the very first time I heard Bad Romance. She was doing an interview on Z100 in New York and I stayed in my car in my school parking lot to listen to her entire interview and hear her song debut I was 30mins late for a study group and BLASTED BAD ROMANCE in my car. They can't handle that she was THE number one New Year's Eve performance this year, she was the #1 artist with the most digital downloads of 2009, she has the #2 and #3 most downloaded songs of the year, she has the biggest sales of any debut artist this year, she was the #4 most sold cd this year. Lady Gaga's digital sales nearly doubled last year's most downloaded artist (Rhianna). She has had a great year. You don't have to like her, but why try to bring her down? That seems kind of silly. Go enjoy what you like, let her fans celebrate her many, many accomplishments.
