PETA Pulls A Presidential No-No!
In metro stations all around Washington D.C., this poster featuring First Lady Michelle Obama and some other famous faces grace a poster as part of PETA's "Make D.C. Fur-Free" campaign.
Only problem is, PETA never asked the White House if it was cool to use her photo.Now, the organization is coming under fire for using her likeness.
But fear not! PETA knows exactly how to weasel out of this - they're going to kiss ass!
When asked for a statement regarding the campaign and the First Lady, PETA President Ingrid Newkirk said:
"We haven't asked the White House to fund or promote the campaign, as they can't do such things, but the fact is that Michelle Obama has issued a statement indicating that she doesn't wear fur, and the world should know that in PETA's eyes, that makes her pretty fabulous."
Nice touch! We're sure that will make everything alright now!
In retrospect, we think they're just lucky they didn't piss Oprah off. Sure, Michelle husband is President of the free world, but who got him there to begin with?!

PETA is an irritation!!!! Anyone who supports PETA is a left-wing nut. An organization that thinks it's wrong for people to have animals as pets is a shit-hole organization. WHAT ABOUT ELDERLY PEOPLE WHO HAVE PETS AS COMPANIONS BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO ONE? Does PETA think it's wrong from them to have pets, even if they take care of them?! Yes, they do! Also, this woman, Ingrid, has no sympathy for starving children but thinks traditional farming practices are barbaric. She's a moron. Doesn't she know that on traditional farms, cows are raised on fields where they can eat all the grass they want, chickens are raised in sheds that allow light in and they can peck all they want, and pigs are raised in the open where they can root?!! These animals are treated humanely, and are slaughtered in a very humane way so that they feel no pain. Starving children are dying by the dozens each day because of disease, famine and corrupt governments ethnically cleansing their populations. Maybe this woman should crawl under a rock, and DIE!!!!
