Adam Lambert is rumored to be taking on a guest-starring role on a future episode of Glee!

Adam will supposedly portray a "big brother"-type mentor for the character of Kurt, played by Chris Colfer, who is struggling with being openly gay.

Loves it!

Too bad Glee isn't returning to us until April! So far away!

      No please. I love Glee, but Adam Lambert is a terrible 'performer.' He can't sing for shit and tries to make up for it by being what he calls 'edgy', which is really just crass and obscene. He exploits his sexual preference for popularity, which to me is sickening. People need to stop talking about him and let him fade into obscurity.

      This would be so awesome. Love Chris Colfer, but not sure about the whole "mentor" storyline thing. Although hey Glee writers hit it outta the park all last season so I guess I'll leave the writing to them. I really do hope Adam gets to sing with Lea Michelle, I've lost count of the number of interviews she's given where she talks about lobbying for Adam so she can sing with him, I think they would sound AMAZING together in a duet!

      Adam was different from the age of 7, he's always been different, he's never had to 'try' to do anything. Kids need to know it's OK to be wierd.

      Go listen to Broken Open on his album. Every track tells a different story. Some are fun and silly, some are empowering, some are deeper and introspective and gut wrenchingly honest.

      You really don't have to like his style one bit, it's not for everyone but it doesn't make him any less talented SEEING as he has a 5 range voice that can hit every note on the guitar. There is a reason so many legends love and respect him and it's not just because he is a really f-n nice guy.

      Personally I think it's a little patronizing.

      Is it so hard to believe that a young gay individual wouldn't oblige other people's discomfort? The whole "coming out" process is pretty much like asking permission to be gay, it seems to be about wanting the approval of people for an inherent trait you shouldn't even hesitate to accept yourself let alone everyone else.

So many people. The other day a boy who's parents are hphobic and grew up in that environment said "Adam makes gay okay.".       BECAUSE the last time I checked it was America that was making a big deal out of everything! An attention whore is someone with zero talent but who will do anything to get in the papers. Adam is about the MUSIC. Unlike people like Tila Taquila, Carrie Prejean, Paris Hilton, Big Brother stars…who will do anything for attention, Adam cancelled the interviews that wanted to focus on anything aside from his music. People are DRAWN to him and THEY make a big deal out of every tiny little thing he does. He went to a quiet bar a few weeks back & it's not a pap hotspot at all yet the people inside recognized him instantly, took pics, asked for autographs, updated their t…w…i….t….t…..er and F.B statuses and sent their pics to online entertainment blogs. He wanted to relax but they turned it into a big deal. A normal little social break, like all girls and dudes, like he used to do, turned into a huge deal as if going to a bar is some big deal. Why don't you people like you at least do SOME research instead of reading tabloid magz and gossip blogs like this? I feel sorry for people on the outside. His own father said he finds the lack of anonymity really difficult to deal with at times, he's lucky he's a thick skinned positive free spirit who's dealt with worse in his life.

      Re: fridaysgone – The media were absolutely OBSESSED with him even from his audition. There's a backstage vid from the audition stages and a lot of the cameramen see this tall guy with an incredible voice so they move towards him. Then they realize he's super articulate, chill, sweet and charismatic as well and you can see the $$ signs in their eyes. Adam's been performing for over a decade. He knows so many people the business, he's seen them go through everything fame puts your through. He still gets intimidated and nervous but ultimately he's comfortable onstage. I'm sick to death of wishy washy wet artists like artists like Jack Johnson and Jason Mraz.

It makes me laugh that America prefers coffee house singers and generic Disney brats over talent and experimentation. Adam's a chameleon, visually and musically. He's has 1000s of looks over the years and his voice and style constantly evolves with it. His performance style is performance art. He was different from the age of 7. He's always been different, THAT's why people notice him. If you like different, you're drawn to him & enjoy his escapism, if you fear it & are more comfortable with what you're used to, you don't. Comments like yours make no sense. He would most likely not be anywhere near as popular if he were straight ans I believe he knows that and exploits it.       Re: lovers – Fact is Adam's one of the only gay artists who has ever had this type of chance at success. And he's got immense talent to back it. Most Idol contestants that have any longevity broke out with their second album but it looks like his debut will go Gold in Feb. Not that any of that matter too much.       Re: goldenbells – Sorry but I haven't heard the "range" that you listed on any of his songs. Yes, I watched all last season and I wasn't impressed at all. Just my opinion of course, but anything he sings just isn't my cup of tea. He's too much of a screamer at times when he doesn't need to and he needs to work on the tongue out of the mouth thing while doing said screaming. That said, the only reason why he is a big deal is because the media is making him into one. Time will only tell in the long run…..
