After a long hiatus from her divatude, Grey's Anatomy fans will be graced with the return of Katherine Heigl's character, Izzie.
The January 21st episode, titled I Like You So Much Better When You're Naked, promises lots of drama! Newlyweds Alex (Justin Chambers) and Izzie will finally discuss their issues, while Derek confronts Richard about his drinking problem.
Inneresting. Wonder if Heigl is here to stay.

In other TV news: Ugly Betty’s move to Wednesday night produced just a 1.6 adults 18-49 rating (compared to its Friday average of 1.23). That’s less than what Eastwick (1.7 rating) averaged in the timeslot and will not save the show from cancellation.
With or without her still a ratings success (top ten). Why is beyond me.

This ep was filmed before she took a break to bond w/her new baby. She'll be gone again for a few more eps after this.

I love Heigl and Izzie, but I doubt it. I think she will either be killed off after this season, reccurring, or just a few eps next season. She has a kid and wants to make movies.
Interesting to hear Katherine has won an award voted for by the public. It's nice to see some people ignore the crap written about her and recognise her great performance in the show. The storyline may have been ropey in parts but Katherine can deliver! She would be a HUGE loss to the show.
