In D.C. last night, Nick Jonas debuted a brand new song for the lucky ladies in the audience.

The song is called Stay and on his Twitter, he explained that it's about "fallin for someone."

      I'll pass, his voice bugs me… I'm sorry but he tries too hard to be "deep" "soulful" and *cringes* "funky", like I don't even get what sound he's going for, some songs its John Mayer, Robin Thicke wannabe-ish, others try to sound more like Stevie Wonder wannabe-ish, & then his voice either tries to be like Robin Thicke's, John Mayer's or Michael's (sorry NO ONE will EVER have a voice like his! Nick sounds like he's constipated and whiney). I prefer him singing the real Jonas Brothers stuff, like on the second, third and a few of the fourth album's songs (the ones where he's not trying too hard). He's cute and all but I don't like this little solo project at all!

      Incredible. I am amazed at how wonderful he is. Most people think they are just cookie cutter teenie boppers, but this music he has is legitimate, deep, relatable, and real. And his voice is wonderful; his falsetto is to die for.

      Incredible. This man is a legitimate artist. The lyrics are deep, relatable, and real. And he wrote this in a night and plays tons of instruments. He is an artist and at such a young age. Besides his writing talent, his voice is to die for. He has a falsetto many male singers wish to achieve and his voice is so soulful and warm. I see a huge resemblance to Costello in him. He never ceases to amaze me with his talent.

      I love it! I love how he is branching out with his writing and performing style. People can say what they want, but you can't deny his talent, considering he just wrote this the night prior to this show. I love his whole new sound. His new stuff has more of a different feel than the JB stuff. Love both sounds though. I disagree what someone said about him needing to totally solo and ditch Joe and Kevin though. I love them together and Nick on his own, and am happy with them doing it this way, where as nick said in an interview done by his bros, both can co-exist. The only ones who can deny Nick's talent are the haters who would hate anything he did. He is amazingly talented in writing/composing, playing all the instruments he plays, as well as vocally. Hes definitely got the talent to go far in this business!

      Ok, lets get this out of the way…He is the absolute most beautiful of the Jo bros..Just flawles..Gorgeous.. Second, dam girls screaming ruined the ability to enjoy the song. Last, the song was fantastic. I enjoy ballads and thouhgt it was soulful and heartfelt. he sang that from the heart.. I cannot wait for the official video. will look for the song.. It is a powerful song…

      I am torn about Nick…he's talented but he's cocky, and it's not like he is a genius with an excuse to be that way…and he is productive in that he writes a LOT but…I find a lot of songs pretty insipid and lacking in their worldview. I am a Jonas Brothers lover and this was always something I had to overlook because they are so young & I like the way they perform with so much energy. But….IDK here, he wants to be a grown up so I am not sure I can lower my standards anymore. Maybe I am just more of a Joe fan. He has SUCH a great voice and stage presence.

      Would love to have actually HEARD the song - who could tell if it's good or bad with all the screaming?       I mean, I wouldn't say I love his voice but there are tons of singers who were known for their lyrics and music rather than their voice alone and I think that's what Nick Jonas is going to be. He has great music and this song was an example of it.

      This is it? This is the heavily hyped, new Justin Timberlake? Are you fucking kidding me? This is awful. Generic lyrics (I saw a higher quality video and the lyrics suck) a weak melody and a kid with no stage presence and a awful voice. The difference between him and the artists he clearly wants to be; Justin Timberlake, Stevie Wonder, Bruce, John Mayer, Costello: Is they all had talent and variety. These songs either rip someone off or sound like old Jonas songs. And judging by the fact that Who I Am only stayed on the charts for a week at number 78, I doubt his solo career is gonna go anywhere. Ladies and gentlemen, say hello to Nick Carter 2010
