she is correct to an extent. Meryl Streep IS more relatable… much like Glen Close in that way… She's a beautiful woman, but not outstandingly so, not a sex kitten, not someone that is considered "HOT!!"… which makes it EASIER for her to get meatier roles. HOWEVER… that alone is not why she is successful. She is able to take those meatier roles and really do something with them because she is very talented.
