Move Along Management, Says Morrissey
Though a reason has yet to be made public, we've just gotten word that Morrissey is leaving his management team on the request of his lawyers.
After a difficult 2009, Morrissey looks like he'll be starting the new year fresh by cutting ties with Front Line Management. He posted a statement online, explaining to those who care:
"Following consultation with my lawyers, I wish it to be known that I have terminated, with immediate effect, my association with Front Line Management (Irving Azoff, Andy Gould and Lil Gary), who no longer have any rights to issue any statements on my behalf.I would also like to stress that I have no association with accountants appointed by Front Line, namely London & Co."
Sounds a little sketch to us - and like his management has something juicy up their sleeves to expose about him.

"The Period" you mean, make horrid music since "Ringleader of the Tormentors" and "Years of Refusal". Pretty much everything before those two lousy releases were pretty good.
"everything between those two records where pretty good"… just shows you know nothing about his music, island25. and perez, why bother posting stories on something you know nothing about? morrissey has always worked better when handling things himself. he has also left his record label and is not interested in searching for a new one anytime soon. so that means his label has dirt on him? ridiculous. the companies are too busy churning out crappy mainstream to pay attention to the real talent they have. so they lost it.

Morrissey was brilliant back in the 80s with the Smiths, and I have been really on a Smiths kick lately. Can't speak for his later solo stuff, only because I haven't really heard much of it, which I probably should take time to do so. Anywho…to comment on the story, not much to comment…it seems like a non-issue to me.

As to his management team revealing secrets about the singer, do you have any concept of the industry? One secret revealed would mean the demise of any future they would have in the industry. Celebrities don't sing on with blabber mouths.

yeah, you should listen to his albums 'You are the Quarry', 'Ringleader of the Tormentors' and 'Year of Refusal' (all made in the 00's) and 'Your Arsenal', 'Vauxhall and I' and 'Bona Drag' from the 90's!
