We also got a chuckle out of the weatherman saying that the show is doing well on "the MTV."

    I am assuming this is like a morning show with lighter content Snookie and McPhee?
    In any case they are getting a little over exposed but MTV is loving the success. The have made it more than clear that these "kids" are not from New Jersey and every episode shows a tag specifically stating Seaside, NJ. So the rest of Jersey just CALM DOWN.
    Last night the in between bits with Michael Cera (pushing his new film) with the cast were hysterical and show the cast has a sense of humor about themselves.
    It would be interesting to throw some of these cast members into the Real Word/Road Rules (plus some extra idiots added a few years ago) Challenges to spice things up, but I fear the cliques would send them packing early on.

    I hated it when laguna beach was on and made our town look like a bunch of sluts but this is worse. Sucks for new jersey because im sure not everyone is this way.
