Yes, another remake!
Some geniuses in Hollywood are remaking the 1987 cult classic Mannequin that starred Andrew McCarthy and Kim Cattrall.
WHY?
Gladden Entertainment execs are said to be in the "early development" stage of the remake, but they are envisioning a plot of the man crushing on a "laser display hologram" as opposed to a mannequin.
Way to tailor it for the new millennium!
We know Kim Cattrall is going to stay far, far away from this one! Say no to the cameo!

I liked that movie Al Pacino S1m0ne where that dude falls in love with a computer character thing. Similar idea, was quite well executed. admittedly I was like 14 when I watched it.
It's the perfect comeback vechile for Miss Lohan. Her chemistry with Channing Tatum is boxoffice gold.

I actually never saw the original so that a remake is being made matters little to me.
The producers need only look to the wooden "actresses" on most CW series to find their perfect artificial woman.

they never do the original justice. The best thing about this movie is the cheesey 80's music, the awful clothes and the production.

OMG! That was the WORST movie back in the day…why in the hell would they waste money to remake it? I swear Hollyweird is giving up nowadays in the creative department. Now tis all about going into the archives and dusting off a new and updated version of some POS show. Good lord! Awful idea!
