CBS Will Unconditionally Love Letterman

At least there's one late night host who's not being completely screwed by his network!
Nevermind the sex scandal, Late Show host David Letterman will be sticking around CBS until at least 2012 according to the contract Letterman is expected to sign.
And for all you fans of the silly Scot, Late Late Show host Craig Ferguson will also be hanging around CBS until 2012.

Not to be ageist or anything, but I think Johnny's example of leaving the late night stage gracefully at age 66 should be followed by Leno and Letterman.

I just gotta say what I gotta say. Somehow, Dave Letterman went about having affairs with younger women and cheating on his wife in the most humble, hospitable, lifeful way. As a woman I always thought of cheaters as scummy dogs…then I saw how he went about it and felt like..'Oh, okay..just a mistake. He's still a nice guy" Well I guess it took me to realize this that…no he's not. He's still just as bad as any other guy who's ever cheated on their spouse. Did he man up and apologize, take responisbility for his actions? Sure. But the truth of the matter is he still knew what he was doing at the time. He still did her wrong. He still made her look like a damn fool in front of america no matter how 'nice' or 'apologetic' or 'hilarious' he comes off. He's a disgrace to married men around the country for doing what he did. She's an even bigger disgrace to married women because of her choice to 'forgive and forget'. :::deep sigh::: sorry…just kinda had to get that off my chest

Letterman should have stepped down a long long time ago
everyone has their opinions I guess, but Leno is just unfunny in my books. The only thing I ever watched it for was Monday for the headlines ( which were funny on their own and not because of him) and for the occasional guest that I liked.
