Human League Is Back!
After nine years of hiding out, perhaps working as waitresses at a cocktail bar, The Human League is back after signing a new record deal.
The band is set to begin recording a new album with label Wall of Sound and though they have had an extended leave from the biz, the band hopes there old fans are still pumped and new ones can be made. Phil Oakley said:
"Emerging from a decade in which everyone seems to have spent their time looking backwards we are delighted to have the opportunity to march forwards once again. After a break from recording we can't think of a better situation than working with Wall of Sound in our ambition to make the best recordings of our career and to extend the audience for original electronic pop music."

Seen them play live in 2005 (less than 9 years ago). They sucked big time!
They were never completely gone–I saw them last year along with some other 80's bands at a concert last year. They were great!

Is this for real, like the world needs another despirate 80s band reunion. Nothing that cant be done better by the likes of Scissor Sisters, Hot Chip or The Veronicas bands under us 50s can relate to.

Agree Susan Sulley in the above picture is kinda goodlooking still (for a 50 year old) but what they dont show is the other Human League "girl" Joanne Catherall who looks like Susan Boyles ugly sister dressed in fetish wear…yuk.

Is this a joke? They are at least twice the age of anyone on this forum. If I downloaded a Human League track my freinds would disown me, there is Mom and dad pop but the Human League is Elders Retirement home pop. Sorry Gramps but no I dont want you baby.
