We love us some Jennifer Garner.
The mother of two was spotted this weekend lending a helping hand by volunteering for a good cause.
Miz Garner and a pal were spotted carry boxes of goodies to the volunteers at the Legends of Learning Foundation in Santa Monica.
The organization is said to help keep young people interested in their education as well as strive for a higher education.
And just as quickly, Garner then picked up a power drill and pitched in.
Even more surprising, she didn't use this opportunity as a photo op, calling in the paparazzi like other celebs do.
Doing good and not wanting everyone to talk about it? Lovely.

I think this was a great thing to do and that she seems like a great mother, but sometimes I think you are going to call the VATICAN up and ask for her CANONIZATION as some sort of LIVING SAINT.
What a classy lady, Jen Garner is. She's not like other media whores who only do good things so they can get their face plastered all over the rag mags. You go, girl!

More celebs should volunteer! They don't have 40+ hour a week jobs year after year and they make enough millions they can lend a hand to the less fortunate.

Love her! Can't wait to see her in Valentine's Day, although I would love to see her in more dramas like Alias and Juno. She was the best part of Juno, IMO.

The headline "Jennifer Garner Doing Good" was not an insight into her wellbeing. It was a statement of the good thing she was doing… It probably should've read "Jennifer Garner Doing Good Deeds" but you get the drift (or not, apparently).
Anyhow, I'm late to the party, but thanks for posting this. It's nice to see someone pay attention to the good things that celebrities do. All the negativity gets old. I hate the fact that we thrive on it, although I'm just as guilty as anyone else…

I love seeing her with her kids and her husband. it seems like her family is healthy and thriving.
other celebs should take notes from her. it's sad to know that even though hollywood stars have a major influence on the public and TONS of money, they don't do much to help; but there are the few out there and this instance of JenniferG shows it. You go, girl!

Whatever. If she didn't call the paparazzi, then who took the pictures? And how do you know what she's doing if someone didn't tell you? This was NOT some anonymous good deed.
In the celebrity world, no good deed goes unphotographed. If she didn't want the world to know, the organization would have stuck her inside licking envelopes or something where she couldn't be photographed.
You're smarter than this, Perez. She wants it out there where it can help boost her profile. She has a movie coming out in a month.

I love how she doesn't have a photographer with her, to take staged pics to show how "charitable" she is. I hate when celebs do that. ( the pics posted for obviously pap pics, shot from a distance)
Very classy, and very respectful. If you going to look up to an actress, it should be ladies like Jennifer not little girls like "Snookie". Seriously.
