Marissa Gets Her Ass Fired!
Oxygen has just announced that Marissa Jaret Winokur will not be reprising her role as host of Dance Your Ass Off when it returns this summer.
Instead, the plus-sized Hairspray actress will be replaced by fellow Dancing With The Stars contestant and not to mention more in shape Mel B.
Exec producer Dan Cutworth says Oxygen:
"looked at some things they wanted to change. Marissa was a fabulous host. She was great hosting the show and got great press, but they found in talking to the audience that there was a portion of the audience who loved her and a portion who didn't connect with her. The core Oxygen audience grew up as Spice Girls fans, so they connect with Mel B."
That either means no one knew who the hell the Z-lister was or the full figured host didn't match up with what the show was trying to do.
Either way, sucks for her because Mel B hasn't even seen the show in it's entirety.
Ouch!
Oh well, Mel B does seem to be a better option. The girl lost 60 pounds of baby weight from dancing, which makes her a better success story when it comes to busting a move and shedding the pounds.

I'm sure the live audience will feel feel better about this decision; I saw Marisa wear some belts last season that were so tight it looked like they would put someone's eye out if they broke.

Mel B is really hot! That fat blubber Marissa is a total z-lister who shouldnt even leave the house until she loses a 100 pounds. This was a smart move by producers, the show is still lame, but Mel B is worth watching.
