I have to agree with you on this one. Her acting is TERRIBLE in the Twilight series. I couldn't believe that when Edward left her in the forest and said goodbye like it would be forever, she just sat there and started breathing heavy instead of sobbing. She has very little range and she is the same person in every film she's in. There is A LOT of emotion required of Bella in Eclipse and especially in Breaking Dawn and she's going to ruin the story, I already know it.

Well, considering that the character of Bella in Twilight is devoid of personality and depressed all the friggin' time, I'd say Kristen did a decent job at portraying her. Don't blame the actress, blame the bad scripts, the bad books on which the movies are based, and the bad author who wrote them.
I have nothing against Kristen Stewart, but I'd be shocked if *anyone* from Twilight was nominated for an acting award. Maybe the Brits have mistaken her bloodless recitations as dry wit.
I watched In the Land of Women on the weekend and she acted the same. I wouldn't put to much weight on this award considering that the U.K general public is allow to vote. Which means twilight fans will vote in droves so she will probably win.

She's not really the Bella I pictured while reading the books - at least personality wise, but that's partly the scrips and direction. And she and Rob look great together, and have done a great job of creating a mystique that has generated a vampire-like desire to know more about. So she's done her job. And she looks great and is intelligent.
Carey Mulligan will probably win though, if it is based on acting.

If you read after Edward leaves she is shocked and stunned then falls to the ground because it feels as though a hole has been punched through her heart which she does after she tries to search for him. The only one that comes to mind was Bronson Pinchot and that was 20 years after filming. Those interviews are always a bunch of bubbly bullshit about how great everything was, how well everyone worked together, and how talented everyone was.

I read the Twilight-series long before the fuzz began. I loved the series, they meant a lot to me. Then the movies came. They were alright, but Kristen Stewart ruined everything for me. Especially in Twilight, when she's in the hospitalbed and is supposed to seem upset that he talks about leaving and starts stuttering like a donkey.. I mean, OMG. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.
