Courteney Cox must be thrilled!
The unfortunately named, but pretty cute sit-com Cougar Town has been renewed for next season on ABC! Joining Cougar Town in the lineup for next season are the hilarious Modern Family and The Middle.
There's no word on ABC's struggling comedies yet including Better Off Ted, Ugly Betty and Scrubs.
But we are legitimately happy for Courteney and her success on TV! Will Maniston be making a guest appearance soon?

Two inmates David Boltjes and Paul Inman showed off their eye tattoos with one sporting red and another blue of what used to be the whites of their eyes!

This show sucks. Anyone that thinks its funny to get caught giving a blow job by your child, needs a shrink. I watched the first show and hated it.

The new Scrubs blows and I’ve never liked Ugly Betty, but I swear if they cancel Better Off Ted I’ll be furious. It’s quirky, hilarious and clever. So yeah probably exactly the kind of show that ABC would cut. Please watch this show it’s amazing, and I’m so tired of seeing great shows get canned while mediocre ones trudge on for years.
Cox didn't over-reach and became happy. She settled for her equal, B-lister Arquette, and stays in TV where she made success. Aniston was unfortunately married to a A-list movie super star Brad Pitt, and although she NEVER LOVED HIM ENOUGH TO GIVE HIM A CHILD, the A-list treatment she lost, she wants to keep by somehow party-pooping in movie-star arena like GG and Oscars. Aniston over-stayed her welcome. Really embarrassing.
Cox is a has-been. At least there will be money coming in for drugs for hubby !

This show is so funny and continues to get funnier…the episode where the dad is babysitting and has his kid roaming by an electrical cord only to get caught by his wife is classic stuff to anyone with a kid (and a husband)…to "Critic": that's supposed to be like a Larry David moment- the insane, horrible moments you hope never happen.
I watched Better Off Ted last night for the first time and it was fucking hilarious.
the guy who plays her redneck ex husband is hot.
I don't know why people are hating on this show. I think it is hilarious and actually laugh out loud! My husband won't watch "chick shows", but since I watched weeks of college football, he tuned in with me one day. He was laughing too, and grudgingly admitted that it was pretty funny. Busy Phillips is a riot as her friend. The humor is "stupid humor", very random, and I love that style. For people who don't like that, it won't be your cup of tea. Still, I love that this is a 1/2 hour sitcom that I like. Not many of those around anymore!!
I like this show- but agree, the title sux.
Maniston is a disaster! She ruins everything just like she got ratings so low for Dirt that show ended up fading away and no one cares. Courtney is desperate for work since housing market has tanked and she is not a good actor, poor soul. Between Courtney & Maniston's stiff over botoxed faces they look like horrible old bitches desperate to keep up with the young ones in their 20's. Old fools. Cougar sucks and not worth mentioning.
