J. Lo Blasts In Vitro Fertilization!

wenn54104912.jpg

Some women choose to have In Vitro Fertilization in order to get pregnant, but Jennifer Lopez is definitely not one of them.

According to J. Lo, she never considered IVF as it goes against her Scientology Catholic beliefs.

The 40-year-old opens up to Elle magazine in a recent interview and explains:

"When it comes to family and relationships, I'm quite traditional. Just because of the way I was raised.

And I also believe in God and I have a lot of faith in that, so I just felt like you don't mess with things like that.

And I guess deep down I really felt like either this is not going to happen for me or it is… And, if it is, it will. And if it's not, it's not going to."

So deep.

But luckily for Lopez, she was able to conceive and managed to give birth to twins at the age of 39.

Guess she really must have prayed hard.

J-Lo is a Hasbeen who must learn to let go and focus on raising her two ugly children with that skeletal-looking husband (Hasbeen #2). I have two beautiful 12 year old cousins who were concieved by invitro in Ireland and are two of the brightest and sweetest children in the world.

That stupid bitch needs to shut her fat ass from speaking for her. And that goes for the rest of you who have no idea how painful it is for a woman who cannot get pregnant without the help. You idiots all go to doctors now so STFU or i will hand you your ass.

Apparently, that Catholic girl does not know all the commandments - thou shalt not commit adultery. That's a biggie.

    5. 105

God gave doctors and scientists the brains and ability to help me have a beautiful daughter, and another baby that I am currently pregnant with. Nobody could tell me I wasn't meant to be a mom, or that my children weren't meant to be her. IVF was the ONLY way!!!!

She doesn't seem to say it goes against her Catholic beliefs in the quote provided. That's something you appear to have added.
Perez and Co. are R. Catholic if I'm not mistaken.

Just to help you get it straight, if a catholic has cancer it is ok to recieve treatment because its a life threatening situation and you damage your body to stay alive.
In vitro forces God's will and in the process they kill many eggs, once the sperm and the egg come together there's a soul or a person (for non believers) and they kill as many needed until they get the right one. It's two different things you're talking about here, don't get it mixed. There are a lot of IVF people walking around but many more were disposed and where killed at the very moment there was life in them, same thing as killing some one at any age.

      Re: ap076
no one said going to heaven was easy…you're exchanging a lifetime (60, 70, 80 years, whatever) for an eternity. Very good deal I would say and because it is still so difficult God forgives everything you do (only if you really mean it). so yes even the worst person in the world can go to heaven if they repent in the last moment, God forgives everything so never feel down when you think it's impossible.

      Re: Yellow Peeps
We don't believe in it because it's forcing God's will to give life and in the process many souls get disposed just to get the right one. Those who are born this way are loved by god like any other person because it wasn't their decision or were conscious about this.

    13. 113

She might not have had In-Vitro Fertilization, but she definitely took fertility drugs like Clomid because she always had trouble conceiving. Funny she won't address that.

ITS NOT LIKE THE BABIES ARE "MADE" IN A SENSE, IT IS A REAL HUMAN BEIGN, SO WHTS WRONG WITH IN VITRO?

      Re: Lilygirl27
First of all you need to respect other points of view.
Do you ever think what happened to the other eggs or how would they turn out to be if they hadn't been disposed in a trial and error procedure? It's a lottery in which your kids won and could have ended just like the others disposed.
It is your right to follow God's will not yours to be a parent, it's not a right to be a parent, it's a gift given to you.
Quoting yourself: "I don't believe in a God that wouldn't want me to RESPONSIBLY try to become a mother". Where's the responsibility in killing several humans at that early stage that they can't defend themselves. Your kids are not responsible for the way they came into this world.
If you were meant to have kids, how did you how did you or the doctor choose which of your kids get to live and which didn't.

    17. 117

clearly, shes lying….I mean what are the chances? I really want to know what are the medical chances of someone having twins at 40? it was clearly IVF so why would she lie about it? Ive lost respect for her now!!

    18. 118

religious my ass. she married a freakin dyke in disguise. wtf?!

    19. 119

Rebecca Romijn, Charlie Sheen's wife, Sarah Jessica Parker, Julia Roberts, Marcia Cross … basically anyone in Hollywood with fraternal twins concieved them thru I.V.F.

      And that's the truth.

    20. 120

ahaha funny J LO.. why u got married so many times if u believe in God so much????????????

    21. 121

alot of woman who have twins at her age have taken fertility drugs. but, i guess that's part of God's will–??

    22. 122

Jennifer Lopez F U! You have no idea what is like to not be able to conceive on your own. If I had all the money in the world like you maybe I would adopt! I have a husband who had cancer so we had to turn to IVF……. you shouldn't speak illy about something you obviously have no idea about! I got married in a Catholic Church and I stick to my vows and won't be divorced 2x and married 3… you my dear are an asshole!

      She lies!
I'm not saying she did in vitro but I am quite sure a little Clomid or something was involved. Besides wasn't she seen at Southern CA Reproductive center?

And if it's "God's will" that you have a heart attack or cancer, you shouldn't mess with that right? Of course you would seek treatment. Infertility is a treatable disease too.
Those who say they'd adopt if they couldn't conceive haven't been there and don't know what it's really like to try and want and try some more. And adoption is a long, difficult expensive process too.

    25. 125

I'm quite honestly offended by this statement.
I am an In Vitro baby….YES! there are not many around. 19 years or so ago my parents went through many miscarriages and it was heart wrecking- so after 10 years of trying, they went In Vitro.
I am proud of being unique and very thankful to be on this earth. I wish people would not be such snobs about test tube babies. I am not any different than any of you besides the fact I was created in a petri dish and your parents had sex! (That's right, I just went there.) Oh, and I cost about $12,000. That was in the year 1990 too.
If only stars would think before they talked. Words can hurt.
