Even the Super Bowl isn't safe from the economy!

The average cost of a Super Bowl spot is going down this year in comparison to previous years — by 16 percent!

CBS is reportedly charging between $2.5 million and $2.8 million for 30 second ads, which is down from the $3 million NBC got for ads last year.

CBS is denying the price cut, but TNS Media believes otherwise.

Either way, we're hoping for some good ones! Isn't that the only reason people watch the Super Bowl anyway?

We kid, we kid!

Without the Steelers in the Super Bowl, expect at least a 25% drop in viewers verses last year's record.

I would like to see the San Diego Chargers Vs. the New Orleans Saints, with N.O. the ultimate winner. N.O. has never won a Super Bowl it is about time (although the Chargers have been to "the show" they have never won either.
Indianapolis MUST NOT WIN, their appearances in the playoffs (9 of last 10) have been impressive in number but not so much in terms of outcome with only one Super Bowl Win. Not going to the Super Bowl this year would secure THE NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS SPOT AS THE BEST TEAM IN THE FIRST DECADE OF THE 21ST CENTURY.
