Not that we thought it would last long anyway!
Former Bachelor Bob Guiney and All My Children star Rebecca Budig have split after five years of marriage.
“Lately it’s become clear that nothing is going to save this,” said a source close to Budig. “They’ve just grown apart and are no longer the people they were when they got married.”
Grown apart that much after only five years?!
“We love each other very much. We are best friends and don’t know what the future holds,” the couple said in a statement.
Oh, really?????
“They talk on the phone every day and they truly are best friends. They don’t know what is going to happen. They haven’t filed for divorce," claims another source close to the couple. “They’re not even fighting.”
WTF?! Who gets divorced without fighting?!
Apparently, neither are dating anyone else, yet their marriage has been on the rocks for quite some time.
Budig quit her gig on the soap last March to spend more time with her hubby in El Lay, but when the show relocated to the West Coast, she went back. And it still wasn't enough to keep them together.
We're sure they'll be many more spouses in their future!

I actually watched part of this bachelor series (don't know why) and there is something very odd about him. Just something very strange about this dude that made me think he wouldn't last with any woman. He's looking for some idea of perfection in a woman that will never be there. And he's probably still hung up on his ex-wife.

I love both of them…big AMC fan and the Bachelor….I think they are both adorable and am sad to hear the news, but if I had to guess what went wrong - I think they are best friends, not in love. In my opinion, he may be gay (not that there is anything wrong with that

Your ghost writer is just as pathetic as you and doesn't understand anything about a functional relationship - you do realise that sometimes people are married and are best friends, and they can split amicably? I have seen it happen before. Not everyone breaks up because they're drunk and one partner pulls a knife on another and there's a restraining order filed.
Having said this… wait for Bachelor Bob to be on the next "allstar" edition… GUARANTEED!!!!
I am so sad. I liked them both, especially since Bob is from my home state-Michigan. And, I am super glad that Rebecca is back on my soap! But, it is possible to have complete love for someone and be best friends but not be in love with that same person. I hope they both find that balance. They did NOT file for divorce, YET.

I look at these young couples getting married today. They hardly date one another and then decide to get married. They put more effort into their big party wedding than they do to the thought of marriage and what it means. There are highs and lows in all marriages. It seems that as soon as a couple hits their first low they divorce. Whatever happened to the vows they said to one another? For better or worse? They just repeated them on their wedding day. They never stopped to think what they meant or took them into consideration. It's too easy to get married and too easy to get divorced. People want everything to be so easy. The world has turned into a bunch of quitters! BTW…….I've been married 27 years and never once thought of getting a divorce. Not even at the lowest point in our marriage. You WORK through it!!!
