What's going on with Kellan Lutz?
Seems the vampire hottie is too good busy for the Peoria Rivermen hockey team in Illinois.
Turns out Lutz has canceled on the team twice and will no longer be making an appearance at the January 23rd game at Carver Arena.
Originally, Lutz was scheduled for October 24th but he cancelled that date and then it got rescheduled for January.
But this time the Rivermen are fed up as they'll no longer try to reschedule Lutz.
Instead, they'll be offering free tickets to those unlucky fans with tickets to the January game. Fans can use their ticket stub to attend any of the remaining Rivermen home games for this season.
Josh Morin, the Chief Opperating Officer for Riverman, reveals:
"We're very disappointed. We know our fans are disappointed and Twilight fans are disappointed, and it's unfortunate that Kellan Lutz has not fulfilled his contract with us. We are offering what essentially is a 2-for-1 ticket deal to our fans while we look at other alternatives for our promotional schedule."
Sad.
Hope Kellan has a good excuse.

Very very sad. I always believe in keeping commitments, no matter WHAT happens. Is he already becoming an egotist prima donna? ugh
I had tickets and when he canceled the first time, my daughter was in tears. Luckily Chaske Spencer was nice enough to come out as a last minute replacement, and he was extremely courteous and friendly. I am not surprised that Kellan canceled again- I had a feeling that he would. People may think that we're a bunch of hicks out here in the Midwest, but there are a lot of us, and I will not be spending one more dime on Twilight junk. Anybody could have played that part, so I hope he doesn't go thinking he's something that he's not!

Ask him how many of the the twilight conventions he's had to miss. He doesn't care about disappointing his fans, he only cares about showing up at hollywood premieres, parties and photoshoots. Talk about ungrateful, he should be glad anyone wants to see him, how many lines does he have in the movies, 4? haha

He probably doesnt have a good excuse. Someone probably offered him more money to be elsewhere. He did this to an event I paid big bucks for to see him and ashley greene. They both were no shows and they blamed it on new moon filming but in reality they were at some big halloween party in vegas

Okay, being a huuuuge twilight fan and being from Peoria, I really think this was a dick move to cancel twice on the appearance. Were not some kind of hicktown, so he should of came regardless of how big the city is.

Re: mercifully – Kristen, hobo and Lutz are not going to the Golden Globes. They are not presenters, are not nominated for anything, have no invites. Iit's only Taylor going as he is a presentor.
In Oct the first time he cancelled the newspaper indicated we could get a refund…now they are just offering more tickets? WTF?

It sucks that he had to cancel twice but I KNOW that he would make it if he could. He is a very big supporter of charity work and being there for his fans. He doesn't see himself as a prima donna and doesn't think he has "made" it in hollywood at all. He lives ina world different form ours where his days are planned for him by second and third parties, and that includes filming and appearances. This isn't how I assume him to be, this is how he is: kind, genuine and intriguing.

I bought 2 tickets when he was coming in October then he had to cancel cause of filming so they let us us are tickets for the January game then to find out he canceled again was very hurtful because my 5 year old little daughter has been waiting to meet him his character is the only one she like really good she calls him her monkey man now I had to let her no he wasn't coming that was first then tears came then trying to explain how come he wasn't cumming was even harder.never will understand how people cant keep there word when they agree to do something and how in the HELL they sleep at nite knowing that they broke there fans heart in dream of meeting him is unbelievable all i can say is SAME ON U for being like that,mama must be so PROUD
