In a recent interview, Kate Gosselin digressed from talking about her hair extensions for two seconds to answer some questions about her kids. As the tykes haven't been seen or heard from lately, Kate was asked how her eight kids were dealing with the divorce and the constant media coverage. Her answer was not surprising:
"They start counseling in the next two weeks. I found an awesome counselor who will come to us, and she will be working with them. I'm definitely seeing signs that it's a MAJOR need at this point."
We bet!
Poor kids! At least now, one adult will be catering to their needs.

It's about time. You could tell that they needed help a long time ago especially the two older ones. They can show Kate with them all they want to on tv and in magazines but I don't think that either one of the parents are any good for them. She isn't the prize mother either. She needs help too.
If she thinks the divorce is the only reason they need counseling, she's a bigger fool than I've given her credit for……

I don't understand why you stand by Kate. Don't get me wrong, Jon is a horrible father but both parents agreed to exploit their children on national TV. They're both sick and demented fame-hungry individuals equally.
Its just the beginning of their therapy. I hope kate saves some of her money instead of wasting it on her ugly ass hair extensions.

Well she finally picked her self serving head up and noticed the kids are being damaged by it all. (Shocker!) What a joke of a parent she is. I lost all hope for her when she said she asked the kids if they wanted to do the show and they said yes….as if they knew anything else!
The only people catering to those kid's needs are the multiple nannies on staff.
Jon & Kate are poor excuses for parents. It's only a matter of time before the kids start suing Jon & Kate for what they did to them.
Kate Gosselin is the poster child for how to fuck up a marriage and a *huge* family. I think I dislike her more than Jon (and that is a bunch). I have issues with people who put cute videos of their children on YouTube. Whoring out your 8 children on reality TV is totally messed up.

oh my…i think rather jon and kate stayed together or not, that at some point those poor babies would need some sort of therapy….they have two wack-job parents…
Those children should have been seeing a counselor the SECOND that Jon and Kate split up. Having someone to talk to and that can relate to you when your parents are splitting up is the only thing that kept me sane as a kid. These kids are blaming themselves for it, all kids do.
I BET you that she is shopping around a deal now for a reality show based on the kids going to therapy. She would sell those kids for their organs if they stopped bringing in money.
Yes, they need therapy because there mother is a complete witch! Both of the parents exploited them for fame, but the Kate is verbally abusive. She could get some therapy while they are at it!

I am a Mom of 3 teenagers and I can't stand to see these celebrites, athletes, rich and famous people in the news anymore. I don't get what they have done in their lives to recieve all this attention, money fame?? What am i missing. They feel they can make one movie or whatever it is they do an get paid 12 million. Won't sign contracts until their 24 million dollar deal is done!! What can one person do with 1 million never mind 24 million. GREED GREED GREED is all these people are about. Do they even know what it's like to work 9-5 and raise their own kids?? Nannies, drivers, chefs?? WTF!!

You may think I'm jealous and want all that but I wouldn't trade my boring life for that shit anyday. My 3 teenage boys all play sports, if they were ever, ever approached with a contract to play pro, I would cringe!! Yeah, its nice have some money but the price these people, most of all their children, pay for fame and money is not worth it. Drugs, divorce, and Death! Do they know what it's like to live next to your neighbor and wave "hello" while your mowing your own lawn?? No, they live behind gates in cold loveless mansions. How fun??! And Angelina, ya what a saint. Adopts all these kids and brings them into her wickedness! Money, 10 houses, $5,000 pocketbooks, big friggen deal. They would have been happier being poor in Haiti!! Those people have nothing to wake up to everyday, no alarm clock telling them to go to work and make something of the day, they have no schedules, other than hair and nails!! That's why they all go nuts and drink or drug themselves up. It's getting worse and worse, at least 50 years ago most celebs knew what it was like or experienced a little of what it was like to "ACTUALLY WORK' from their parents. Today celebs, breed celebrity kids right smack into it, money, fame, all that crap. I don't think I have even heard of one celeb couple staying married?? It just blows my mind.

And by "seeing signs it's a MAJOR need" does she mean that the kids want someone to parent them, and she can't be bothered because she's to busy chasing her own fame to deal with them? Handing them off to a counselor sounds slightly better than dumping them on a permanent nanny I guess.
How intuitive Kate is….when the rest of the world realized early on that these children would need therapy!! Kate must be on a break from seeking fame, or maybe she is realizing that no one is going to want to deal with 8 kids that are acting out because they are hurting. Maybe the nannies finally told her to do something or they will quit. THAT'S QUITE AN EPIPHANY for someone who should have done this months earlier when they knew that the sh1t was hitting the fan!! She should be embarassed for not seeking help earlier while still claiming that her children are her number one priority. SHE GOT EXTENSIONS BEFORE THE KIDS GOT COUNSELLING…..SAYS ALOT!!!
I'm probably going to be bashed for saying this, but oh well, we're on the Internet, its not that serious, but its appalling to me that people are freaking out about the kids not getting therapy as soon as the divorce hit. Yes, I admit, I didn't have to go through a divorce when I was younger, but there were problems then & there are bigger/more serious problems now. I know I'm older, so I can handle it better, but I don't think that the answer to everything is getting help.
That being said, I'm happy that they are getting help because they need it. And if they needed it before, then they should have gotten it then. But when people are saying, "right when the divorce hit", I don't know, I just find that a bit much.
Well maybe if you actually stayed home and raised them instead of spending all your time doing interviews, book tours and promotional tours they would be doing better. Sick of this bitch!

The only reason they are getting help now is because it is convienant for Kate right now being in between jobs and all. But nevertheless I am glad to hear they are getting some help. Wonder if Kate will keep her 2 cents out of this and let the therapist do their job or if she will try to control the sessions?
