Russell Simmons revealed via his Twitter that Tiger Woods is helping out majorly with the Haiti Earthquake Relief effort:
"Tiger woods is doing something AMAZING!!!"
"I heard tiger woods donating to send a cargo plane with a mobile hospital out there. Keep ur prayers high!"

For the people saying that Tiger is only helping to repair his image…you are the same people who would be complaining if he didn't help. You should be focusing on the fact that any help IS help for the people of Haiti. It doesn't matter what, why or how they get help.

"I heard that" … Sounds like a smokescreen to me. I'll believe it when it's confirmed by a reliable source. It'll only be an attempt to repair his image, but any help is worth it.
He has quite a ways to go to even the scales of karma, but this is a timely, pragmatic and wonderful start. See how the world seeks balance?

Tiger does have a good heart when it comes to charity - he has donated ALOT of money - cancer research, St.Judes Children's Hospital, victims of the Tsunami and New Orleans, education,..sure he has the money, but there are many people who have the money but don't have charitable hearts

Tiger has never been black and struggling. He grew up like "the white man" with parents who worked. He never had to "struggle" with free groceries, utilities and rent paid and having to walk all the way to the mailbox to get that check every month. I wish I could be black and struggling…..
