AGAIN! Coldplay Sued For Plagiarism!
Once, Twice…Three times a stealer?!?!
For the second time in two years, the boys of Coldplay are being sued for copyright infringement and the man filing the suit is going after three of the band's biggest hits.
Sammie Lee Smith filed the suit on Wednesday, claiming that it was actually he who wrote "Yellow," "Clocks" and "Trouble," and he wants to the band to stop playing the songs immediately.
Oh, and of course some much deserved damages. Can't forget those!
It's a hefty accusation, considering the song selection, and the band has yet to make a statement about it.
They better hurry up if they want any of us to believe that they are the "artists" they claim to be.

sammie lee smith, a self proclaimed genius who has recorded 4000 songs on CASSETTE since 1976, which coldplay somehow got ahold of 3 and stole them. If you are going to print this garbage barbara, at least print the insanity part of it.

I love Coldplay. I don't understand why this random dude filed a lawsuit now if those songs which are Yellow, Clocks, and Trouble were released like years ago.
Whoever wrote this article is an idiot…as mentioned previously the songs have been out for an eternity. Coldplay responding to this nonsense only validates the claims. Why don't you attack some illegitimate bands / acts and leave truly brilliant musicians like Coldplay to reap the acclaim they deserve.

I find this complete bullshit…..and the fact that you are even reporting it is bullshit too. Coldplay has created some of the most beautiful songs over and over, and all their songs are amazing. So they couldn't possibly be stealing for all their songs now could they. They are one of the best bands in the world…and only ignorant people would ever believe a claim like this. Actually, they didn't rip Kraftwerk off. They got the band's permission to use the sample, paid them and credited them for it on the album, so get your facts straight before making accusations!
