Rumor has it that Conan O'Brien's last night as the host of The Tonight Show will be January 22 — next Friday!

A pre-scheduled hiatus had already been scheduled to start on January 25 according to NBC, but a source close to Conan says that he "does not currently plan on doing any more new shows after next week."

We wonder what he's going to do next?

      Spend some of his millions on Haiti? Volunteer for the Salvation Army helping displaced Americans? Finding another ridiculously lucrative position? Something tells me Conan will be OK.

      Sorry, never was a fan of this guy and he reads word per word from the cue cards on the "Tonight Show". I think he is letting his pride get the best of him with his decision and once he's gone, people will forget about him. He should have accepted any opportunity to stay in the public eye!

      What I am trying to figure out is why anyone still watches Jay, Dave or Conan? Do that many households not have cable? Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert are so much more entertaining.
