The estate of DJ AM has settled its lawsuit against Clay Lacy Aviation, Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and Learjet.

The suit claimed that the trauma DJ AM aka Adam Goldstein experienced from surviving the devastating plane crash caused him to become re-addicted to drugs which led to his death.

The settlement terms are confidential.

I was not a major believer in the strength of his case. Therefore I am surprised the companies settled. Interesting outcome.

Americans are so litigation happy. This lawsuit is embarrassing. Whatta stretch.

Seriously? Wow. I'm going to sue everybody and their dog because I can't be held personally responsible for anything. What a joke. I hope the a-holes in charge of his estate have a great time with that money. Jerks.

Jesus Christ this family are a bunch of hyenas. What is wrong with the world??? Why not just mourn your son and stop trying to point the finger of blame elsewhere (while conveniently cashing in at the same time). This guy was a junkie - period. He took his own life. Pretty lame really, when two people died in that plane crash and he literally walked away from. Second chance at life and he threw it away.

It is sad what happened to him, but I wish people would stop suing for EVERYTHING! Sometimes accidents happen and money can't "undo" the damage.
