Hathaway Is Harvard's Woman Of The Year
Congrats are in order for cutie Anne Hathaway.
Harvard University has named Hathaway their Hasty Pudding's Woman of the Year with an event taking place next month in which Anne will parade through the streets around Harvard.
The award is given to those entertainers who have made a “lasting and impressive contribution to the world of entertainment" with previous winners including Halle Berry, Charlize Theron, Julia Roberts, and Meryl Streep.
The award last year was given to Renee Zellweger who had to attend the parade in a fat suit from her Bridget Jones' Diary days in order to receive her trophy.
Even James Franco had to milk a "gay cow" last year in reference to his movie Harvey Milk to receive his Man of the Year award.
Not sure what embarrassing thing they'll make Anne do or dress up as, but let's hope it's good.

to missbunny: She's not Harvard's woman of the year. The Hasty Pudding Theatrical Society is an all male theatre troop at Harvard (that means it's a bunch of dudes in drag). Every year THE CLUB (not actually Harvard itself) picks a woman to honor.
I have a feeling they might make her dress up as a Princess…awwwww…or maybe she will have to wear that hideous cowgirl outfit she wore in Brokeback Mountain.
PLEASE make her dress up as Mia Thermopolis from Princess Diaries, complete with big messy hair and all.

Anne probably should have won this way back when she did a ton of movies… she's so awesome, loved her in the princess diaries, maybe she'll be super awesome in alice in wonderland, but i can't wait for johnny in that!!
