Latest on Tonight Show Drama!
Since Conan O' Brien has taken the tough stance that he will not host The Tonight Show at the 12:05 am time slot, NBC President Jeff Zucker is pissed.
In fact, he's threatening to keep Coco off the air for three and a half years because of it!!!!
Zucker "is threatening to ice Conan," according to his reps. "Zucker said, 'I'll keep you off the air for 3 1/2 years.' Which doesn't have a chance in hell of happening. What I really think Zucker wants is to hold him off the market for at least six months to a year until the dust settles and Leno is secure and Conan is squelched."
WTF?! We know his legal team isn't gonna let that happen!
Considering Conan had to find out about this debacle from the press, Zucker is to blame! Although the NBC boss has continually said that O'Brien has "let me down."
The Tonight Show has gone up in ratings since this mess and now everyone wants Conan. Yet, all the funnyman wants is to be be released from his contract and make sure everyone on his staff who relocated to El Lay is taken care of.

If he did that to Conan I would NEVER EVER watch NBC again. I don't get what the hell the big deal is anyway. Leno blows…he is not remotely funny. Get rid of Leno and let Conan have what he wants.

Perez, you are shameless. You are the only blogger I know who doesn't give credit to any story you pick up from other bloggers or news sites. This story is from Nikki Finke, whose blog is now "deadline.com" has been doing exclusive stories for awhile. She has also been giving credit to persons and entities she references her stories from. You ought to be ashamed of yourself. Granted you are adding a few words or inserting them in verbatim paragraphs taken from other bloggers and/or news organizations, but at least have the decent courtesy to give credit to those people who spent the time putting together the story, the words and inventive captions from whom you are practically stealing because you are not giving them credit.
I hope you get sued one day for copyright infringement (stop hiding behind the "this is a blog" excuse). You are benefitting from other peoples hard work.

I like Leno. His guy off the street ability to make us laugh at the obvious makes him funny to me. Connan comes off as a spoiled baby. He still would have moved up a half hour earlier than where he started . I personally wouldn't care if I ever saw Cone head on TV again. Let him go enjoy his twenty million a year to chill on vacation. Most of us in this economy are just trying to live paycheck to paycheck. Sorry, my heart doesn't bleed.
This whole fiasco is Zucker's fault - back-pedaling, giving Leno the 10pm slot, getting rid of five nights of scripted TV. And then coming up with the ridiculous pre-Tonight Show half-hour with Leno. What a fool, and now he's lashing out at everyone for his stupidity. Typical.
