He's right. He's much better off on cable, where he doesn't have to kiss as much ass.

    7. 7

Not really worthy of being a "Quote of the Day", but I love John Stewart!

Dito. Not really worthy of a "Quote of the Day", but I love, love, loooooooove Jon Stewart!
And you gotta hand it to him, he is/has been really smart about his choice to stick with Comedy Central for this long. They're treating him really well over there and it's nice to see that he doesn't have that much of an ego to NEED to be on a network like NBC, CBS, ABC or whatever, because he knows he can make just as good a show (if not a better show) on Cable and he knows he's got just much more freedom over there.

Throwing out zingers is not necessarily conducive to guests being forthcoming.

Of course it's not. He's got waaaay more freedom and respect exactly where he's at right now, for the same amount of work. There would be mayhem if he moved.

How is that a good quote. It's fucking retarded and gay.

I fell asleep reading this quote. It's an elevator music quote. Wake up, P. Hiltons!
