Reitman Directing Ghostbusters III
Director and producer of the first two Ghostbusters, Ivan Reitman, has confirmed that he will be sticking around for the 3rd!
He also revealed that writers Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky are currently working on the second draft of the script that is due for a 2011 release.
"They have delivered a draft," said Reitman of the script's progress. "We are working our way through another draft… good work is being done and all of us have our fingers crossed."
And when pushed for details on Signorney Weaver's leak that Bill Murray would be involved, he said, "I'm not going to comment on what's in the script and on what Sigourney may or may not have said. She's been so busy on Avatar, I've not been able to find her. There's some very cool things in the new draft, let's just put it that way."

GhostBusters is a classic. If they do it like they did the first one, not the second one it will be awesome. All you haters were probably not even born when the movie came out so stop hating.
Yes!! Now I hope this means that that hack of a producer, Judd Apatow, and his gang of unfunny cronies won't be coming within 3 ft. of this film, as was the rumor before.
With the way CGI has progressed since the first movies were released the third should be interesting to watch. With the dorkcore following the first two movies has it should do prettty well.
