This weekend, it looks like the box-office title will be stripped from the blue warriors of James Cameron's imagination.
If the numbers remain consistent throughout the weekend, Denzel Washington's new flick The Book of Eli will out-gross Avatar. On Friday, Eli raked in $11.7 million verse Avatar, which only nabbed $10.5 million.
Course, there still some time to get back on top, but it just goes to show that Avatar's reign can't last forever.

Give credit where credit is due!! ELI gave Denzel his second biggest opening next to 2007's American Gangster. Eli also had the 3rd largest jan opening of all time. Best MLK opening for Warner Bros. Not bad for a film that didn't take 4 years to make. Avatar is cool I'm sure, but Eli is comin up folks. Definitely a movie worth seeing!!
