If anyone is getting laid off , maybe they should start with some of the writing staff on this show. Seems like it could use some weeding out.

The WHOLE writing staff needs to go. ANd it wouldn't hurt to replace the cast, sans Samburg.

Come to think of it….they should hire the staff and cast of the cancelled MAD TV.

That show was 'smart' FUNNY…relevant and topical.

Not the frat boy crap (think middle school humor) on SNL.

It's too bad COMCAST's purchase of NBC from GE hasn't been finalized yet. The solution to this problem is so simple for COMCAST. First fire Jeff Zuker for supreme incompetence and without any Golden Parachute. Then give Conan and everyone on his staff a 25% raise for "pain and suffering" plus Fridays off at full pay. Then hire Jay Leno as the substitute host for Friday's "The Tonight Show with CONAN O'BRIEN"

I thought this skit was hilarious and completely simple. The whole scandal has to be written off with some sort of comic appeal. Take it lightly, I enjoyed it.

That segment was honestly painful to watch. SNL was actually quite ok a few of the other times I watched it this season, but yesterday's episode made me feel really bad for some of the better castmembers like Fred Armisen. That obnoxious child character he did was absolutely terrible but I know he's capable of a lot better.

It is suppose to be Leno not Predident Cliton you ass! Why the hell are you rolling the presidentual motions? SNL is horrible, their writing staff is worse than the Hallmark Channel original movies. I've seen funnier shit on Hana Montana.

the Digital Shorts are about the only redeeming factor for SNL these days. Too bad the actors just aren't given great material, they're being short changed.

There MAY be a few SNL writers who have good ideas, but they get rejected by the head writer Seth Myer, who is about as funny as an accountant. Lorne Michels calls the shots and he has lost his touch. He has final say about who to hire and fire –remember he fired two funny women last year? The "Bitch Please" woman who was soooo funny.

Has this show ever had gay writers or actors, Asian writers (or actors)? Do they have any female writers — yes I know Tina Fey was the head writer (and the show was funnier then).

They haven't had a black woman on that show in 20 years. Maybe if they had more diversity it wouldn't be the black guy in drag every week or lame, stale rotations of teh same 6 guys in every sketch. YAWN.

Chelsea Handler and Wanda Sykes are so much funnier.

I have not watched SNL @ 11:30 on Saturdays since about a year ago.I have to DVR it so I can fast forward through all of the crap.I couldn't imagine being in the audience and being forced to politely laugh as a courtesy to the cast.The writers need to go!
