What a mess!
Dennis Hopper's wife Victoria has been holed up in their Venice Beach estate after he filed for divorce from his wife of 14 years while on his deathbed with prostate cancer!
Hopper is attempting to keep Victoria from contesting his will, which leaves her a quarter of the estate. He also wants her out of the compound in Venice where two of his adult children and their families also live.
Victoria is said to be enraged that her inheritance is only going to be what was originally agreed to in their prenup and not a penny more.
Sounds like their marriage must have gone pretty sour over the past year or so! He doesn't want to leave her with anything!

yeah iv been following his on other sites. horrible. awful thing to do to your wife and their poor daughter! hes being so selfish. and the tragic thing is that it will probably be pointless. he is on so much painkillers any big legal decisions he makes, like this one, could be challenged because of questions about his mental health. why isnt anybody telling him not to do this?

There's something really sad and sick about spending the last days of your life in legal maneuvers to try and control who gets how much of your inheritance. What a bitter and twisted person he must be and he'll die that way. Be reborn as a cockroach or something - ugh.
So sad that on his death bed all he is concerned about is his possessions and cutting out the woman who was married to him for 14 years. Before he married her he was a mess and apparently she was the one who got him off drink and drugs. She was a beautiful young girl when they married and is after wasting her youth on a bitter old man. This is how his repays her loyalty. If she was gold digger as someone else said here, there is no way she would stick it out for 14 years, come on.

Who says he's the one behind it? He could be seriously being taken advantage of in his final days, just saying.
it's reported that his grown daughter is behind the divorce. He is highly medicated and is not truly aware of what he is doing. Lawyers have not allowed him to sign final papers because he is too medicated.
