The NY Times Takes A "Moment" To Make Fun Of Michael C Hall
Of all the news publications, you'd think the New York Times would know Dexter's Michael C. Hall has been battling cancer, right?
Nope!
The Time's Moment blog was tweeting during the Golden Globe awards on Sunday night and made this unnecessary and completely insensitive comment about the cancer stricken actor:
Is Michael C. Hall playing Bob Marley in an upcoming movie? Don't get the hat or what he is hiding under it.

We assume the twat got bombarded with an overwhelming and mostly angry response from followers and later tweeted a half ass apology:

I too have removed it from my favorites as of today and won't be coming back. The irony of this is that Perez is always tweeting about positive energy and sending lots of "light and love". I guess only his kiss ass friends or other gays are entitled to those things. I guess that equal rights and being treated fairly only comes into play when it's convenient for him.

Frankly, with some of the outfits celebs wear today, I'm not surprised that he thought fashion statement before cancer. Michael looks healthier than a lot of cancer patients - if you're looking for it, you can definitely see the 'moon face' side effect of the treatment, but other than that he looks like he's holding up pretty well. I really hope that's the case. He said he was in remission, but remission does not equal cancer-free, unfortunately, and chemotherapy/radiation will have to be continued for a while. Fortunately, it's VERY treatable when detected early.
Anyway. This slip up was insensitive, but not intentionally so.
My prayers are with Michael.

At least we can say that Michael C. Hall looks well. I am glad for that. I thought he looked great and I hope he will remain in full remission and done with treatment soon.
I was so thrilled to see him win for 'Dexter'(and Lithgow too). He is an amazing actor and so deserved it. Made my whole night. I was disappointed that the show didn't win..it should have. Best show on right now and not excited to watch anything else(even last season of Lost)!

NYT, the NEW YORK TIMES, THE GREAT NEW YORK TIMES -when I was younger, in high school, the paper was THE paper. We had to get the SUNDAY edition. Back in the 80s, if you had a bad back, you needed someone else to go get that paper.
