Dennis Hopper's Daughter Orchestrating Divorce?!
This is terrible!
Dennis Hopper's oldest daughter Marin is said to be behind the actor's divorce from his wife of 14 years Victoria! A friend of the couple reveals:
"It's so horrible, Dennis is at home, Victoria and Galen [his 6-year-old daughter with Victoria] are living there as well, and Marin is pulling her father out of his bed and driving him to the divorce lawyers. The poor guy has no idea what is going on. Even his lawyers are telling people he is on painkillers and is essentially sleeping all the time."
Hopper filed the divorce papers, but lawyers wouldn't let him sign the other paperwork because he was heavily medicated! He's also reportedly delirious and having difficulty speaking!
Marin has been freeloading off of her father for quite some time living rent-free on the actor's Venice compound with her kid and her job is booking appearances for her dad.
In fact Hopper's chemotherapy treatments were delayed so he could go on a paid gig Marin set up in Europe!
What the EFF? What kind of daughter does this to her own father?

My guess is that the source of this is the wife, and the truth is we have no idea what the hell is going on.
While I don't excuse this alleged behavior, in many countries it is traditional for the children to live with the parents, even into adulthood. It's not always "mooching" or freeloading.
I live over seventy miles from my mother, and, sadly, she doesn't see her grandchild often. Extended families can be a wonderful resource for all the generations.
But, doesn't Hopper have a child he's long been estranged from? This story is getting sadder by the day.
His daughter looks like a tough cookie.
If that part about the cancer treatment delay is real, how does one live with oneself after that?? You'd think there's a special place in hell for people like that.

Sounds like heavy morphine or … dare we say? We do know Hopper is pretty crazy so it sort of makes sense that all of them are kinda crazy.
I can't even fathom someone doing that to their dying parent. How awful. There is a special place in hell for that freeloading wench.

At least the lawyers are smart enough to know when someone is incapable of signing such life-altering paperwork! Besides, Karma will come back around and bite her in the ass…just wait!

i sincerely hope this is not true, that a child would take advantage of her sick father like that! if so this is disgusting. if it's a lie then it's a horrid horrid lie.
i swear it seemed like Hopper was only diagnosed like a month ago and now it sounds like he's a death's door. i hope he gets better, he's such an amazing actor and i looooove him.

If this is true then I really hope this daughter gets cancer and dies, so she can know the pain of such a serious sickness, and then to have a loved one take advantage of you at that time, how horrible. Sometimes I just can't believe how horrid and low some people can be!

No one knows what goes on behind closed doors so I am not commenting on whether or not this alleged behaviour is true. However, as an oncology nurse I will say that what Mr. Hopper needs right now is rest and plenty of it, NOT going to see divorce lawyers and definately not delaying chemotherapy treatments to work!!
I think it is very odd that an old geezer who spent little to no time raising or caring for the many kids he had with many women while instead bedding and marrying and even younger succession of girls along the way would now choose to foresake his wife for them. His two daughters are older than his wife and neither one amounted to much. No wonder they are fighting back. Too bad the biggest losers could be Hopper's two young children, both who may need any inheritance left behind to grow up and be educated. Get a job, I say. No parent is required to leave ANYTHING to their kids much less EVERYTHING.
IDK. This all sounds like bullshit to me. Who REALLY knows what is going on with. Last I read about him was that there isn't much more that can be done for him……. Love him, he's a great actor.
Sounds like another irresponsible leech of that/my generation, that don't give a crap about anyone they have to USE to full fill their lavish lifestyle. I'm sure she'll come out w/some sob story as to why she HAD to do all these horrible things. Haven't you guys heard of all those horrible loan officers MAKING all these victims take out ridiculous loans? I'm one of the lucky ones…… I hold mystical powers that allow me to say "NO!"
