Gwyneth Paltrow's neighbors think she and hubby Chris Martin are spoiled.
The Hollywood duo want to build a 10 foot metal security fence around their home in London. The neighbors ask the same question we did:
What for?
Is that really necessary? Are you just looking to waste money now? As one neighbor put it: "It's rather over-the-top. Who cares who he is?"
Exactly! No one cares!
So stop pretending like anyone does, Gwyn!

It's perfectly reasonable. People are constantly spying on celebrities.
i've seen a paloroid pic of her (and some other celebs), that a casting agent made, before she bacame famous.. that is to say, before she had a nosejob (or two) and lost twenty pounds.. most entertaining

You don't live in central London if you want privacy, twits ! It is an old city, and the homes - even very expensive ones - are close together. Methinks putting up a big fence would actually attract attention, twits !
considering a guy pole vaulted into Buckingham palace and had a spot of tea with Queen before the authorities came (true story), i don't think a 10 ft fence is going to stop some deranged lunatic. In fact, here's hoping it won't….
I think this woman is over-rated as an actress, and just ridiculous (have you seen Goop?) - but she's a celebrity, married to a celebrity, and they have 2 young kids. I'd want a 10 foot security fence around my property if I were her too.
She must see things like the guy who punched Leona Lewis, and it must scare the crap out of her. It would me, were I in the public eye.

If they are indeed going thru a nasty divorce, they for sure want to keep any pappers off of their property and from taking pics or getting the scoop. Or maybe Gwennie doesn't want any photogs getting pics of her little ones, or of her in any yoga poses lol.

Well considering all these mansions in Beverly Hills are getting robbed because celebs are not doing anything about security I would think you'd be praising her for her common sense. She has kids for cryin out loud and her and her husband are both in the public eye! It's called "good parenting".

if they want better privacy and security, they should have chosen to buy a house that would afford them that without erecting a metal fence that could actually cause depreciation to their neighbors' property (as well as be an eyesore).
The neighbours are taking it too personally. Who knows what kind of crazy threats they receive. As well, paparazzi will do anything to get an embarrassing shot.
I'm sure the neighbours are the last thing they are worried about.
