Well, here you go Twi-Hards! Something to feed your addiction between movies!
On March 16th, you can get your hands on Twilight: The Graphic Novel, Vol. 1 when the first printing of 350,000 copies hit stores.
Who else thinks those will go by lunch?
Once again, the story is faithfully written by author Stephenie Meyer and the drawings were composed by artist Young Kim. Above is the cover as well sneak peek of one of the panels.
Yawn! We'll wait for Eclipse to come out to get excited again.

wow, i am not particularly fond of the movie franchise but this looks decent, as in cool art style
Wow and I thought the HP franchise got bad, this is a total sell out I wonder if Meyers is trying to get her own themepark as well. Either way I still have way more respect for JK Rowling than this woman…she didn't even grow up in the location she wrote the story about and honestly how many different ways can you present the same story over and over again. She should probably just write midnight sun from edwards perspective then at least she can get some more money.
i'm not jizzing in my pants or anything, but it's cool to see them drawn, as Stephenie prob described to the artist how she imagined them and this was the result.. so we finally get an idea of how Stephanie saw them in her mind XD

I like Twilight, but i have to admit that it is soooo overrated!!!. There are better love stories, vampires have been downgraded because of this story.

Thank goodness, Edward and Bella in this book look different to the ones in the movie. Although Bella still doesn’t appear right – she seems too pretty (maybe Stephanie always thought of her as this attractive but it never came across in the books), and the Edward guy just seems pathetic. Maybe that’s what Stephanie was going for when she thought up Edward? Hence her choice for a pasty androgynous looking actor and um wimpish sketch of Edward.

Re: G0 Ask Alice – So true Miss Alice…I believe the correct literary term for The Vampire Chronicles is 'delicious'. You can not get the books here for love or money, I have a horrible feeling it's to do with her becoming a renewed (overwrought?) Catholic. Catholicism is a skin not easily shed & I wonder if she frightened herself with something she wrote.

I think Bella looks like a young Stephanie Meyer. Look at Stephanie's picture on the back of the Twilight book - she's pretty much as she describes Bella (once you read all the novels, and Midnight Sun) - heart-shaped face, lower lip slightly larger than her upper lip, large brown eyes, long brown hair. I think Stephanie was imagining herself as Bella.
How lame - milking this thing for all its worth…
Re: the_true_one – They can all do better. I hate how the teens in "teen" movies are always made to sound totally unlike actual teens do. No one pauses so much in between saying single syllables. No one says, "Ummm…..it's the……fluorescence…..ummm..ahhh…" and then walks away. Just like no one talked normal in Juno, and no one talked normal in Clueless, etc. They either make teens seem REALLY awkward at all times, or REALLY ironic, or REALLY "hip."
Also, the dizzying camera angles of New Moon totally took me out of the story and made me nauseous.

It looks good, but I'm so over Twilight.
I love the idea but why does it look like anime characters? I would rather it was drawn in a different style. Just my personal preference.
Are you fucking kidding me? You've got to be joking. Has it really gotten to this point where mediocrity is that main stream? Put on your uggs, tights, and northface jackets so you can all look like you have no personality or creativity, and go watch a watered down, poorly acted, over dramatic, tweenybopper pandering yawnfest of a pixie- I mean - "vampire" movie! That's what the sheep are about this year! Go forth Lemmings!

I think the graphic novel will be a success. The drawings look more like the Bella and Edward I pictured, instead of pattinson and stewart.

umm, i wish that Edward was that hot, but instead hes a painfully sad looking vampire wimp. So definately nicer looking at this graphic novel than the actual actor. As to feeding ur addiction until the next movie comes out?? Its a replay of the first movie. Its the same thing as rewatching ur twilight DVD.lol.
And bella character is just beautiful. The artist has talent. Sadly, kristen stewart doesnt. she looks like shes always PAAAinfully bored. Even at the MTV Movie Awards, when she received the award, she looks like a meth addict having withdrawal symptoms.

so stephanie meyer can write a graphic novel to go along with twilight, but she feels like she "doesn't have enough control of the story anymore" to finish midnight sun, even though that's just kind of a rewrite of twilight too? interesting.
