1. Michael Jackson died from Propofol (Diprivan) overdose. A medication that is completely different from Demerol.
2. A respiratory rate of 5 is not "nearly dead". Not to mention the fact that post-op she would be closely monitored, and the respiratory depressant effects of Demerol (an narcotic) are easily and quickly reversible with a medication called Narcan.
Michael Jackson died of Propofol (a.k.a. Diprivan) not Demerol.

Ok, medically, Demerol is indicated only for post op uncontrolled shivering. NOT pain control anymore. (and, if it IS, then that doc has some serious practice issues! Not that that's not debatable given the length of her surgery…) The side effects of Demerol - and the metabolic byproducts - are dangerous. It's contraindicated for EVERYTHING except post op shivering and pancreatitis pain (in some cases.)
So, assuming that she had post op shivering, she would have been under the watch of anesthesia, and who CARES what her breathing was!! She could have been reintubated no big deal!
She's grasping at ANYTHING she can to make herself relevant - and now that she's an artificial whore, she can add artificial "lying" whore to her resume…

…As a massage therapist we learn how to asses breathing patterns… normal breathing is 7-12 a minute. 5 isn't very far off. If you were relaxed it's quite possible you breath only5 breaths per minute on a normal basis. this chick is batshit crazy.
