A source reveals that Blake Lively is going to be sharing her screen time with a Baldwin brother very soon!
Gossip Girl will welcome Billy Baldwin at the end of the season as he will be playing Serena's estranged father, William van der Woodsen!
It's good that his name is the same. He'll have enough trouble remembering his lines, much less responding to a different name!
Ten bucks, Alec Baldwin got him this gig!

They're trying to pull in older viewers who will remember hot 80's Billy, and will enjoy watching his TV daughter give him hell. Hey, stranger things have happenned. Alec 's career keeps rising from the dead, why not his brother's too?

I think you are confusing Billy Baldwin with one of his more colorful brothers. He's always seemed like a good guy to me. I wasn't really familiar with his acting until he was on "Dirty Sexy Money." I thought he was good in that. And his love interest in the show was Candis Cayne, which you should appreciate.

You're right, Dave. Billy isn't the crazy Christian one. Billy is the one who's MARRIED to a crazy Christian one.
But give Billy some credit, Perez. "Dirty Sexy Money" was on for a couple of seasons. And he was good in "The Squid and the Whale." Billy can get his own gigs. How could Alec help him anyway? Does he have some "in" with the CW network or with the producers of "Gossip Girl" that I'm not aware of?
