It's A Go! Pirates 4 Filming This Summer
After a lot of hemming and hawing on Johnny Depp's part, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides has finally launched into pre-production!
The fourth installment in the Pirates series will film in Ohau and Kauai this summer, with a release date scheduled for 2011.
"We've always sought out the most extraordinary and exotic locations … Hawaii provides an amazing range of both land and seascapes, and we're delighted to return for On Stranger Tides," said producer Jerry Bruckheimer in a recent statement.
Moving the Pirates production to Hawaii is expected to generate $85 million for the state, which has been struggling due to the lack of tourists heading to the islands.

finally, I read something I like on this website
….huge fan of the pirates franchise, really, i love them, the first pirates movie was where i went on my first date with my future hubby, but unless i see ALL the original actors this time, i'm not watching, As much as i would love another movie, i think the series ended well and dont need to be pushed further. When we left off Jack was searching for the fountain of Youth in a rowboat, so yeah, bring on the original actors or i dont watch. Plus there are some rumours of Zach Effron (or whatever) being in the movie so barf!!
