I record it and fast-forward to the commercials. I sometimes watch the half-time show depending on who's performing.

Well, I guess it depends on what teams are playing. If I don't like either team, than I'm with you… screw the game! But if New Orleans makes it, I'm most definitely watching the game!!!

Lots of people do that, its alot easier to hear about how the game went when you look it up online. Not to mention that with the economy the way it is, nobody has time to sit in front of the tv for a few hours.
And of course there is the option of recording the show and watching it later on at your own time and leisure so you can fast forward through stupid and boring parts.

yeah, if you don't like football, and im guessing theres more people who do than don't. And even if you do like football, its fun to watch, but more fun if your team is playing (that 30 teams not being represented) GO VIKINGS!

I don't watch the game at all. I may record for the commercials. But the last good half-time show was at least 5 years ago…seriously…they expect to get people to watch half-time with The Who? Last year was Bruce Springsteen, year before that was Tom Petty…sorry…but the half-time shows have sucked recently.

people 'gather' for the superbowl in groups . It is middle age party day. We don't care who wins, unless it is our 'box' and we watch the commercials, talk about 3 or 4 of them and NEVER buy the product. Oh, and feed our faces non stop. Nachos anyone?

I watch for the commercials its true but sometimes the game is good like 2yrs ago was an awesome game. but the half time shows suck so much. I cant even tell you the last time the show actually rocked.

unlike you Perez i have more than a 30 second attention span so HELL YES i will be watching the game. i loooooove football and go to quite a few games each year and am rather miserable after the superbowl until August when the pre-season starts up again.

It'll be the Colts definitely but I have no idea who will win btw the Vikings and the Saints…i'd be happy with either one b/c then it will be an epic quarterback battle at the big game!

well it's obvious that there would a set of viewers who watch if they either are betting on a team or it's the one they've been tracking, however im disappointed that the chargers lost! at the playoffs :[[[[ so i dunno if imma watch, but i'll def try to see the halftime show, if it is hosting great singers and whatnot… i can remember the days of when the halftime show was really big and special like Britney and Springsteen or whoever it was then, now it's kinda crappy :[ but im guessing if the vikings or whoever goes to the SB, then there would be quite a good amount of people watching the game
