Simon Helps Haiti - With Music!
Many celebrities have joined the fight to help the victims of the Haiti quake and now Simon Cowell has joined the bandwagon.
Simon is collaborating with The Sun to record a charity single for the newspaper's Helping Haiti campaign. The Idol judge has already negotiated a deal with Prime Minister Brown to waive the tax for sales of the track.
Beyonce, Robbie Williams, Lady Gaga and Wyclef Jean are already on board to help the cause and Susan Boyle and Leona Lewis a rumored to join as well.
"I wanted to do something for Haiti so when I had calls from The Sun and the Prime Minister asking if I would get involved I agreed immediately," said Simon. "We are going to do a single. We only made the decision today. I have got to get it together in 48 hours."
Can't wait to hear it!

simon cowell is a music producer his career spanning at least 25 years, his one of the most powerful men in music of this decade. his a judge on a few talent show but thats only one of his jobs.

It's CONFIRMED! The song will be REM's "Everybody Hurts". A spokesperson for the band have said that they are honoured to have had their song to be a chosen for such a good cause. REM will also be donating all songwriting royalties to the Haiti appeal. Apparently JLS and Rod Stewart have been added to the lineup and Simon has said that his phone hasn't stopped ringing with people wanting to be involved.
Simon has so much money that I hope he is personally donating millions to Haiti. With his bucks, he can certainly do much more than organize this single.
