RiRi's New BF Explains Himself
Yesterday, we reported that Rihanna's new boyfriend, Dodgers' player Matt Kemp, had a "violent past" and that his ex, Felisha Terrell, had filed a restraining order to protect herself from him.
This morning, both Matt and Felisha are coming forward to set the story straight…sort of.
Matt's agent released a statement this morning, going to into vague detail about Matt and his relationship with Felisha, stating:
"Matt dated Felisha about two years ago and decided to end their relationship. She chose to file a complaint and shortly thereafter, on her own accord, decided to drop it based on the fact that the statements made within were false. She has very recently said that she has no issue whatsoever with Matt and that she and Matt consider this to be a nonissue. Matt Kemp is a consummate Midwestern gentleman who has never displayed any act of violence towards a woman."
The same generalized statement came from a rep for Felisha, though he further stressed that the restraining order was not filed because of domestic violence. The rep told the press:
"During the course of the relationship there was a restraining order filed by Felisha but it had nothing to do with domestic violence…to be clear, Matt was NEVER physically abusive to Felisha, nor did she fear for her life. The restraining order was subsequently vacated. They both have moved on separately but remain amicable."
We just want to make sure the world's beloved RiRi is safe. She has suffered enough and it would be simply awful if she has another destructive relationship like the last one.
So we would like to know EXACTLY what Matt did do to warrant such a reaction, if you don't mind!

There are lots of possible reasons for a restraining order, including but not limited to various forms of harassment, verbal and otherwise (e.g. phone calls, visits, text messaging, etc.).

I guarantee you, Matt did not do one thing. She's a spurned woman who wanted to be with a high profile baseball player, that's what it is. There are so many women who travel around the country following MLB teams in hopes of hooking up with player's and lot's of these women go from one player to another, total groupies!! I work in baseball, I see it all the time. Plus, ANYONE can file a restraining order against anyone else…that is what's scary.
Someone should give rihanna a big smack right now!
