While in court on Friday afternoon, Britney was granted the right to auction off her 2008 VMA's dress for the relief effort in Haiti!

Ooh!

Spears picked up three awards while wearing the gorgeous, fringed Versace dress - maybe it'll bring the top bidder similar luck!

      Britney earned 494 million dollars in the past 10 years, and she's donating a dress. It's kind of like a slap in the face. Even if others are in controlling her money, she can still persuade them to donate.

      So this cow gets good publicity points for letting them sell something that she'll never use again and doesn't need. How noble. How about she gives some of her own $$$ to help all those dying people - how about not getting to look good because she's giving away something she doesn't need, care about or use?! That makes NO sense, considering Madonna's hasnt earned that much money and has been around three decades now, Britney one. Also Britney has to pay all her tour producers, managers, directors, dancers, mechanics, also her manager, all three of them, her assistant, all her lawyers, doctors, handlers, her father and her baby daddy. So she mostly likely doesnt see very much of her millions.

      she donated 2 million for 9/11 and 1 million for hurrican katrina if i remember correctly, i know she is under a conservatorship and only get $1500 a week, but she could at least get 100 000. I remember she donated 100 000 to the sick kids hospital this year and 10 000 to the art school…she can cough up more for Haiti, but hey it's charity
